User profiles not being found! Is this a bug?

I keep having user profiles suddenly not being found and
a temp profile being setup.

I then get a notepad message
LocalizedResourceName=@%System Root%\system32
\shell32.dll, -21787

Anyone ever experienced this? Its really getting quite
serious Tx Adrian
