Hey,

I am having a problem with one of my computers running windows xp with
microsoft office 2003.

We set up a profile for the person using the computer. Profile name
"user".
Recently we noticed that it was not operating microsoft access
correctly (one of the reports wouldn't print with the correct
information.) I discovered that the problem lied in the "user" profile.

Setting up another profile on the computer called "user2" the report
printed correctly.

Can anybody tell me why the report would work correctly in one profile
but not the other. Also, how can I alter the "user" profile so that the
program works correctly.

Thank you for your help.

Christina

Hi,

I would guess that it has to do with that user account's default template
(.mdb) for the program. Deleting it and creating a new one may resolve it.

Hey Rick,

I tried that and it didn't change a thing. For some reason it's gone
crazy!

Do you know of anywhere where you can change the setting of a program
within a user profile in xp?

Cheers,

Christina

Hi,

No, I don't. You might try one of the access groups for more detailed
assistance.
