User name when reinstall XP

I was set up as user "Margo". I reformatted HD and reinstalled XP (after
backing up my data). When prompted to enter user name, it said I could not
use Margo, Administrator, or Guest. So I used my full name. I would like to
be set up as user Margo, not Margo Burnette.

You might ask, why does it matter -- because I have everything set up in
Margo, and I don't want to have to move everything to MB

Hi Margo
I have had the same thing happen to me a couple times.
I had used the Quick formatt feature and it did not remove everything.
I know people don't believe me but it HAS happened to me 2 different times.
I just reformatted and and used the regular formatt feature and cleaned it
up and started over.
But since then i have used the Quick feature many times and never happend
again.
I know this won't solve your problem, but you are not alone there.

If I understand correctly you would like to remove Burnette and leave only Margo. Is this correct

Margo,

It looks like you've chosen the "Leave the current file system intact (no
changes)" option during reinstallation, so the hard drive was not formatted.
