User name and password

For some reason my Outlook is requiring me to enter my usr name and pswrd
every time it sends/receives. I have verified all my settings and have went
to my email provider and they cannot find any thing. Everything in my
profile seems good. Any ideas what may be the problem?
 
outlook version please? what OS are you using?

Sounds like an older version, but since you've not included any info
it is only a guess.

Hint.
 
This worked for me:
Internet Options
Click on Security
Click on clustom level
Then scroll all the way down to User Authentication
Check the option “automatic logon with current user name and passwordâ€
