User Logoff Problems

Everytime I logoff my Windows XP Pro system, I am required to make several logoff attempts. The first time seems to stop the processes but does not log me off until I do another LOGOFF, then the system logs me off immediately. I have even tried waiting several minutes and the same thing happens. Sometimes I have to perform the logoff as many as three times!!! Help!

there is an adaware bug that doesnt allow me 2 shut down normally i have 2 shut down twice maybe dats d same bug.Disable adaware @ startup dat should do it.
