user logg on messages and editing

i have staretd new puter with xp. prior to setup individual users, family
members used msn/hotmail and now the administrator (me) gets messages
(onscreen in user area) each time i log in and it details the emails totals,
even though they belong to other users

how do i edit/tidy up/delete these message

Download and install Tweak UI.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

Now do the followings:-

1]Start Tweak UI.
2]Click the "Logon" link and expand it.
3]Underneath "Logon", click "Unread Mail".
4]Uncheck "Show unread mail on Welcome screen".
5]If desired, select "Apply setting to all users".
6]Click "OK" to close Tweak UI.
