I am getting
user-defined type not defined

on the above statement from the code for

Go to Tools | References, scroll through the list of available references
until you find Microsoft ADO Ext. 2.x for DDL and Security, select it and
click on OK

It's probably because you have not created a reference to the ADOX library.
Select References from the Tools menu on the VBA menu bar, scroll down to the
reference for the Microsoft ADO Ext for DDL and Security reference and select
it.
