user controls on pocket pc

i just opened a smart device application. i want to use my user control in
the project. when, i add the dll file to the toolbox , i can't select it
to drop into form.

what should i do?

i am sure i have seen an article about doin it, but i cant find now.

To create designer controls for .NET Compact Framework v1.0 you have to
manually compile a version of your dll against the full .NET framework for
designer support. There is an article here describing the steps involved:-
