User Acct does not have adequate permission problem

New Network Connection wizard will not permit set-up and gives this message.
This is an ad hoc wireless network of two Windows XP computers. The host is
all set up and sending the signal. I'm trying to set-up the client computer
using a Net Gear USB flash adapter. The Device Manager shows the adapter as
working properly. But I can't set up the network connections. thank you for
helping with this!
 
Log in as Administrator and change user account to higher level or setup
networking under admin account.
