I share(d) a user account with a sibling and it was registered as owner.
There was an attempt to create a new account with owner privelages, and I
think it succeded, however, only the original user account shows up to pick
from at the start-up. This account is "limited" and with this type of account
i can not change any accounts or access system recovery to revert the account
status. Is there a way to sign into the new owner account to have system
control? if so how can i accomplish this? If not how do i go about accessing
the owner account?

Hi,

1. On Pro Edition, from the Welcome Screen, press ctrl-Alt-Delete Twice. On
Home, boot to Safe Mode, and logon.

Tip:

TweakUI/Logon/Show Administrator on the Welcome Screen

Or...

Enable/Disable Administrator on Welcome Screen (Line 5)

Note:

If you have disabled the built in administrator account, booting into
Safe Mode will automatically enable it again (temporarily, for that
Safe Mode session).

2. Using an NNTP Newsreader
