user accounts

I originally set up 3 user accounts. If I delete a user account , will I lose
the icons and the files in those accounts?

I'm not sure what you mean by "icons" but when you delete an account you
are given the choice of saving the files. If you choose "no", the files
will be gone. Better to back up what you want first and then delete the
account.

You may back up his/her files before deleting the account if you want to
save.If you don't then just delete.

The picture you choose for the display on the Welcome Screen are there
on the hard disk by default.If one user is not there the pictures will
be still there on your hard disk.You may manage them by User Accounts
present in the Control Panel.
