Dear friends,

Seems I have performed the dumbest thing you could do. I
have deleted the Admin account on my machine, and now I
cannot do anything, as my User account is set to limited
Tights. Is there a way to get back my Admin account?
Can someone please guide me to resolving this terrible
mistake.

If you are using XP Pro, the default Administrator account becomes hidden
when another user account in the administrator *group* is created. To
access the account, press CTRL+ALT+DEL twice at the Welcome screen. The
Win2000 style logon will appear. Type in username/password to log on to the
"missing" account.

You can use TweakUI to force this account to display on the Welcome screen.

NOTE: Most folks reserve the builtin account, Administrator, for
troubleshooting. They use another account in the administrator group for
every day administrative tasks.
