user accounts

Can I make a user account that can only use the programs
I allow as the admin?? I also want to make it so none of
my files are accessable. If it was a perfect world, just
microsoft programs (eg Office) would be seen in the other
users start menu, no control panels, network places, etc.

I use XP Pro.

Hi,

You can use Group policy to do that what you needed. It
has security features and can be accessed by running
gpedit.msc from the command prompt or click on Start |
Run | gpedit.msc

you can try making that account an admin account
temporarily, then changing things the way that you want
them... then log out, and make that account limited again.
just by doing that, non-admin accounts should not have
access to your personal files and settings folders.
