User accounts - Can you have two user accounts

ummmm, YES I meant installed..... I had a download going and I guess
had that on my mind.. :-)
 
That have download programs but not show up on
each others desktop?

Yes. You would need to have the Program shortcuts for the User Account
located in these two folders (directories)

c:\documents and settings\username\desktop
"c:\documents and settings\username\startmenu" and its subdirectories.

Then remove the program shortcuts from any other username in the above
mentioned folders and also remove the shortcut from these locations:

c:\documents and settings\all users\desktop
"c:\documents and settings\all users\startmenu" and its subdirectories.

Then if you do not want no other users to have access to this program then
you can configure the permissions for the program directory which is
probably located here:

c:\program files\program_name

Remember for Windows XP, you must enter Safe Mode to configure file and
folder permissions.
