Hi, could any help me please.
I know I can use = to link to another cell, but how can I
get the = to instictively know to link a portion of a
table?
File A has a rows for each fire. The fire details are in
columns A-E. Then the following columns are staff. Their
column includes what they did and how long: eg DRV,65
(Driver for 65 mins)Each month this table gets added to
with more details .. but will never be over 600 firecalls.
In File B / worksheet I want to have columns A-E, and then
the details for that staff - they might be column J.
I tried naming the range in File A, columns A-E 'firedata'
and then named the columns as the persons name.
then in File B typed in A1 =data and in F1 =persons name
But that didn't work.
1: Can someone help me
2L Have I made myself clear enough ??
Cheers,
Carol
