Use of Custom Properties in a Document

I would like to know how to use custom properties in a document, i.e. how to insert a custom property into a document so that when I change the custom property from the property dialog box, the corresponding property, whereever located in the document, will change. I would appreciate a copy to my e-mail.
 
Use a DocProperty field. When you update the field, it will reflect the
current content of the custom document property.
