I have just installed a second monitor, and am able to "extend" my desktop
monitor to include both. I would also like to be able to have both monitors
show exactly the same images, so that when someone sits across my desk I can
turn one monitor to face the person, and we can each see the images on my
monitor. How do I do this?
Thanks.

what kind of video card is it?
There should be a utility that came with the video card that will allow for
a clone instead of stretched mode. I don't think windows has that capability
built in. Take a look at the video card utility for a solution.

All the video cards that I've seen have the 'clone display' option. If
it is like the ones I know, follow this:

in your display properties (right click on desktop, select properties)
under the 'settings' tab click on the 'advanced' button. From there,
one of the tabs should be specific to your graphics card (i.e. 'Intel
Graphics Media') On that tab there should be more options, maybe even
another 'advanced' button or a 'graphics properties' button. Select it,
and in there you can most likely choose whether you want to extend your
desktop or 'clone' your display. You want the latter for the same image
on both.

Install a "dual-head" video adapter whose drivers provide that capability.
