Hi NG,

I have a question regarding the USB 2.0 drivers. I downloaded and installed
the hotfix Q822603 and upgraded this component in my build. However,
although this component is included in my build, the usbehci.sys file is
nowhere on the damn build. I don't know what's going on exactly. When I try
to update the drivers for the USB controller on my XP embedded target device
using this build, the Add hardware wizards asks for the usbehci.sys file,
but it doesn't reside in the system32/drivers folder as stated in the files
section of this component.

Can anyone help on this one?

regards,
Sven

Hi Sven,

Have you tried to add components in TD:
"Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller"
"USB 2.0 - Hotfix Q822603"
?

If you have please remove them and add them again.

Best regards,
Slobodan

I use the "VIA PCI to USB Enhanced Host Controller" (it's a via epia
M2-12000 board)
If you have please remove them and add them again.

Well, I'll try it with the VIA controller I mentioned above, however, I
can't do it now, it'll be tonight. Is there a known issue regarding this
behaviour, because you promptly address me to do this?

Sven

Not that I know of and I tested this thoroughly. If you use component that I mentioned your XPe will support all EHCI controllers.

Also file is located in "USB 2.0 - Hotfix Q822603" so you must have it in your image.

Best regards,
Slobodan
