XP Home SP2
More time than I want to count, when I remove the USB stick the data is
corrupted.
I very carefully use the Eject icon in the tray and wait a few minutes
before removing the drive.
This stick is very very happy on my Win2000 Pro laptop, never a failure.
But on the XP box, lots of corruption.

Ideas?

Check it's Policies settings in Device Manager, Disk Drives. If the
Write behind Cache is enabled ( Optimize for Performance) then
toggle the setting to "Optimize for Quick Removal". Write Caching
on any Flash or USB based peripheral should be avoided.
