I just bought the Zalman ZM-RSSC USB sound card. It installed and works fine with my Dell Inspiron 1100 laptop which has a sound chip on the main board, but it won't install on my desktop which also has a sound chip on the main board. The desktop main board is the EPOX 8K3A and the sound chip is RealTek. I've tried installation after disabling the sound chip in the BIOS, but didn't have to do that with the laptop. I'm running Windows XP Pro on both computers. The desktop recognizes the Zalman, but the installation screens tell me it can't find the drivers. I've had it search my XP cd and also search the internet to no avail. Zalman provides no drivers because XP is supposed to take care of it automatically, which, once again, it did on my laptop. Anyone with any ideas out there? Thanks in advance for your time.

Do you have Windows Update SP1 installed on your desktop?
