USB problems in WinXP

I have installed on my several years old computer (Celeron 466) the
WinXp lately. Before that I have used Win98. Now the XP does not see
my USB ports (Win98 have seen them).
What is the point?

Hi,

Update the mobo bios as well as the chipset drivers.
