How can I fix the USB ports on the front of this computer to work?

Any device I plug in shows a message that Device Not Recognized.

I gone through all trouble shooting the device manager.

Find the manual for your motherboard, this will help you see if the
front usb thing is wired correctly.

What devices have you tried? try updating your usb drivers.

Flamer.

I have plugged in MP3, card readers, 4-port USB hub, USB mouse. I have tried
updating drivers going through the trouble shooting process in the device
manager application and it says that the drivers are current.

It shows Unknown Device for any device plugged in.

The USB ports in back work fine with all of them.

If you are getting the message then the port is recognising that
something is plugged in to the port.

Are the ports in front are duplicates of the rear ports and are you
using anything plugged into the back ?

Check the wiring to the motherboard.
