USB mass storage devive

I have a pen drive and a second hard drive in a cradle that connects via usb. When I plug them in the computer says a new device has been found and then tells me they are working correctly. However ther does not appear to be any way of accessing either the pen drive or the hard drive as no icon or drive letter appears on the computer. Does anyone know how I get them to work??

Right click on My Computer and select Manage. Go to Storage, Disk
Management. Does either drive show in Disk Management? If so, does Disk
Management show that the drives have been partitioned and formatted?
