USB Hub problem

Anyone know if there exists somewhere a multiple outlet USB Hub. I have
many USB devices. I presently have 3 4-port hubs, daisy chained to support
my devices. Each hub has its own power supply plug in. It's really messing
up my desktop.
I'd like to see a hub that's already daisy chained with at least 12 useable
outlets all powered by one power plug in. Anyone?

Belkin { http://www.belkin.com/index.asp } has a USB Bus Station that may be
what you need.

Thanks, Don. That 7-port hub looks good. I might be able to get by with
just one of them. That would decrease my desktop clutter. I have 2 USB
ports on the front of my computer I can swap around for my Ipod, flight
stick, and audio/video input device. My scanner, printer, Zip drive; DVD
burner, and 2 external hard drives all need USB plug ins so that might just
work out the best. I can give one of my 4-port hubs to my son and keep the
other in reserve.

on my Desktop !!

U can get USB2 PCI card 4 $21 2/7!!

Just my 2¢ worth-Larry
Any advise is my attempt to contribute more than I have received but I can only assure you that it works on my PC. GOOD LUCK.

The "desktop" that is messed up is my physical desktop, not my computer
display desktop. Too many power supplies, hubs, wires, etc.

to think that USB carries power. Irf only they made efficient USB hubs
tyat powered of the computer

The PC can only supply so much power out the USB port, if you need more
thats why thy have POWERED hubs.

hello?

I know that

but you don't necessarily need a powered hub, he is hooking up printers
and the like

I got a Belkin 7 output Hub. I was able to replace my original 1.1 hub and
one of my 4-way USB 2.0 hubs. Now I have only 2 hubs. The 7-way and a
4-way. They are all USB 2.0. The Belkin hub has another advantage.
Instead of having a huge power plug that covers 2 surge protector
receptacles it has a small regular plug in that leads to the big converter
then on to my USB hub. That way the size doesn't matter so much since I can
place it out of the way.

I now have 2 unused hub outlets available for future use. My Gateway has 2
additional USB outlets on the front which makes it nice for devices I only
use once in a while, like my digital camera, iPod, flight stick, and video
inputs.
