Are there any brands or sizes of flash drives that are better or worse
than others? I see there is tons of info on what brands of cd-rs and
dvd-rs are best but very little on flash drives.

I have a lexar that I've been using for a couple of years. I love it. I'm
sure others work fine too but I bought this one after reading good reviews
in a computer magazine I subscribe to.

Lexar, it meets all my needs, It's a Win98 boot disk, storage device,
and I use it to transfer data back and forth from my PS2 to computer.

I bought another one first (forget the brand) and it wouldn't work
with the PS2 (PlayStation 2).

I've got a couple of Kingston Data Traveler's that have been used several
times a day for over a year with no problems. I've also got a couple of
unknown brand that were promotional giveaways. No problems with them either.
As long as they support USB 2.0 I wouldn't worry too much about the brand.

No. And even if "comsumer reports" did a comparison, it'd be out of date
before the publication even hit the news stands and post offices.
