I have a Dell 2400 running XP Home SP1, and I frequently use a USB
Flash Drive made by Fuji. I only plug it into the two USB ports in the
front of my computer. I'd say 15-20% of the time, XP does not recognize the
Flash Drive when I plug it in. Is this common among Flash Drives, or is
there something I could do? Whenever XP fails to recognize the drive, I
restart the computer and try again. Then it works.

I have the same problem with a USB card reader for my camera's memory
sticks. About 1 out of 10 times this happens. I don't have a clue as to why
and just live with it.....:-) At least I get to confuse XP once in awhile
instead of the other way around......
