HELP URGENT
Today I upgraded a Windows 98 platform with XP home
edition upgrade.
This wiped out the 98 drivers for the USB port. The
computer is three years old and was customised by someone
who is now no longer in the UK. I looked at the mother
board and was able to get a serial number but don't know
who the manufacturer is for the motherboard.
The problem is that the BT broadband us robotics modem
runs through the USB port and I cannot find a driver on
the net to get Windows XP to recognise the USB ports.
I have looked on www.drivers.com to no avail and I wonder
if there is a generic driver to get the USBs working?
Getting tired now. Any boffins out there with any ideas?
