USB - Digital camera

My USB stopped working with my digital camera (olympus D-
380.
I went and got a card reader, but that dont work either.
Printer and everything else works on usb, just not digital
pictures i guess.
Very frustrating since I tried getting help from Olympus
and gateway and no luck. They keep pointing the finger at
microsoft and XP.

please someone out there help me.
 
Sometimes the easiest solution is the one that works.
Check the cable and connectors for kinks, bent pins etc.
If that isn't the problem, you could try updating the
camera driver if one is available. This is easiest done
through device manager.

I don't know, but right off hand I would say since you also tried a card
reader and it didn't work, the USB isn't your problem. It sounds to me it's
either your memory card or your camera. That would be my guess!
