Hi,

trying to install USB keyboard and memory stick.

Got USB1.2 interface.

Installed the:
* USB Root HUB

* USB user interface

* Key Tronic USb Keyboard (my keyboard)

* Removable Storage Service (for USB stick etc.)

Still the hw does not work in XPe.

Anyone know ?

Thanks

Cato

Have you included components like:
Standard Universal PCI to USB Host Controller
Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller
Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller
PnP (Kernel-mode)
HID Keyboard Device

Resolve dependencies, and see what will happen.

Slobodan

I've added
+ DiskOnKey USB personal storage device
+ USB Mass storage Device
to get my usb stick to work...

best regards,
mario

Cato,

Try adding USB Mass Storage,USB Storage Device,USB Human Interface to
the configuration and see if that pulls in the necessary dependencies.

Hi,
cannot find PnP (Kernel-mode),
only PnP (user-mode)

Is that what you mean ?

Cato

I found what works exceptionally well is to have a machine configured With All the devices that you would want to Use -- CD-rom -- USB Memstick -- Secondary IDE Drive and so o

Load it up with normal Windows XP get a Full TAP and go from there

Hi,
Lower your visibility bellow 200.
You should have
PnP (Kernel-mode),
PnP (user-mode)
Plug and Play Software Device Enumerator (This would be nice to have also)

And then resolve all dependencies.

Slobodan
