usb device

i get a very annoying pop up notice every 4 or 5 seconds
saying a usb device is not recognized by windows. this
just started a few days ago and i can not find anything
wrong or anything that is not working. can anyone help
solve the problem and get rid of this pop up notification?
it is a large bubble that points to one of the icons in
the lower task bar. thanks in advance

You can try what I do when I get this type of error.
In the MyComputer Properties, select Hardware Device Manager; then
un-install your USB Hub(s). When you re-boot, it will have to identify
everything again, but it tends to solve the problem.
Note: You will lose mouse control if it is USB, and have to TAB and ENTER
your way through until the system restarts.

USB mice and keyboards often get in the way of fixing problems.
