USB Data Invalid

Everytime I install my webcam or MP3 Player I get a data invalid error
It doesnt work I have updated windows XP using the automatic update but it still doesnt wor
I have Win XP Pro
Could somebody please help me.

Are you installing the proper XP drivers for your webcam and MP3
player? If not, go to the webcam and MP3 makers web sites and
download XP drivers if available.
