USB Cradle hotsync and xp

I recently upgraded from ME to XP. I cannot get XP to
recognise my USB Cradle for my PDA. I am using the
lastest version of desktop software for the M500. XP does
not find new hardware when I add it.

Any suggestions
 
Hi Margo, XP doesn't see it until you attempt a hotsync. When you begin a
hotsync, windows will recognize the device and after the sync is done it
will immediately disconnect. Have you tried a hotsync and if so was it
successful?
 
I've had this problem at times too. Usually stopping the hotsync manager in
the tray and restarting it solved the problem.
