Hi,

I have an oldish Dell (3-4 years old) running Win2000 Server (sp4)*
It has, I think USB-1, not USB-2.
I'm thinking of buying a bluetooth phone, and I've seen various
USB/Bluetooth adapters for < 20 quid. Anyone got any thoughts/experiences on
these, good/bad ones, best value, cheapest supplier etc.

TIA,

ChrisM.

*Yes, I know that this is a XP newsgroup, but I would imagine that hardware
works the same on XP/2000, anyway, no-one answered my post onvthe
2000.hardware NG :-)

Hardware drivers are different between XP and 2000.

Second, I have had experience with Bluetooth adapters. Do not buy the
"noname" ones. They are usually cheap and several time do not work. I
personally had good success with IOGear adapters but I do not know if they
are available to you (I live in Canada).

Also, check out D-Link products. I have had great success with them and
know you can get them in Europe too ;)
