I have one XP pc on my wireless network that does not run
USB 2.0 after installing a USB 2.0 pci card. It still
runs at 1.0 speed. I have heard about a USB 2.0 update
exe file that will correct this problem but have not been
able to find one. Anybody know if this is true and where
I can find such a file? If not, can you tell me which
file/files I need to copy from one of the XP pcs that is
running true 2.0?
Thanks much.

How odd that you would assume that I did not do that
already. Being neither lazy nor stupid, I went there and
read that article, plus several others, before I asked
for help. I do not need an update to address any of those
issues and this does not address my lack of speed issue.
But thank you for taking the time to offer help.

Well then it's a good idea to let people know what procedures you have
already used to try to fix the problem. It is very limiting if you don't
fill in the gaps so people are not telling you things you already know. If
you have tried a procedure from a particular KB article, tell
which one by its number.

XP SP1A had the USB 1.1. & USB 2.0 updates now available on SP2.
