URL no longer appears when mouse hovers over hyperlink

The URL of whatever link I has hovering over *used* to
appear in the lower left of my browser window. I need
this feature, and I have no idea how it was turned off.

Any idea?

Check to see that you have the status bar enabled (under
Click to expand...
the view menu). If it is unchecked (and thus, off),
nothing will show up at the bottom of your screen.
