Gentlemen

If I have a link in an email to a website, when I click on that link the browser opens but stays blank. No web site opens up. This started after I uninstalled a non-MS browser. The browser works if I type the link (cut & paste) to the link page. Just the automatic opening of the link when clicking on it in an email message does not work

I have tried to run the repair utility in Outlook, to no avail

Thank you for your response

Regards

Paul.

Also try to set IE as your default browser.

Good luck

Hi,

Go to Control Panel > Internet Options > Programs tab
at the bottom, tick 'Check if Internet Explorer is the default
browser'

If you have installed SP1, go to Start > 'Configure access and default
programs.' Here you can assign your default news client, browser,
media player and java machine.

Good luck

How do I set IE Explorer as my default browser?
