Win XP Pro, Dell 2 Gig, Mem 4 Gig, HDD 850 Gig
Lost data. Sent Hdd away for recovery. Got back URL's that look like
this:HTTP ideaxchg.com shareware.htm 1 (my name) 66651818496 Hard Disk 1
This is a short line, some are over 300 characters long. All out of
alphabetical order. They were in order like web sites in IE browser history.
There are over 180,000 lines. I don't have any idea how to organize these
4,500 pages of lines.
Maby someone has an idea.

Contact the people to whom you sent the hard drive for recovery and ask them
what this is supposed to be. I can tell you that when one of my clients
received a recovered hard drive back from Drive Savers, the files were just
regular files - nothing weird like what you are describing. Even when I do
data recovery the recovered files are just the normal files, so something
is amiss with the recovery job.
