Is there anything better than Link Sleuth to check for dead links on web
sites? I especially need it to check offsite links.

Thanks!

I like REL Link Checker Lite. It's freeware and does the job faster than
most apps I've tried if you can come up with a text list of urls you want
checked. It's at http://www.relsoftware.com/

And there's a new v2.8 of this just available.

I thought AM-Deadlink checks your bookmarks (favorites) for dead links - I
don't think it checks for dead links on web pages.

That's right, maybe that's what the OP meant? If he wants to load a
webpage and then check the links it contains, DL won't be of any use.

This one is perfect! Thanks, Ray!

Glad I could help. Just remember that all such checkers can make mistakes
and/or the servers sometimes are not available. What I do is either check
the list twice or re-check all the "failed" links.
