Working at a museum i was about to update our NT4 system to 2003 std edition.
As a precaution i lke to test things on a smaller scale and so installed 2003 at home with two other computers.
PROBLEM: WHENEVER I SHUTDOWN MY ADSL INTERNET CONNECTION ON MY SPEEDTOUCH 330 USB,
/// WINDOWS 2003 SERVER RESETS THE COMPUTER !!!!!! ///
and i mean RESET, not SHUTDOWN or RESTART. just as you pushed your reset button.

NOW this is getting into my nerves because every time i disconnect from the internet... BUM!!!! reset....
there's nothing else but AVG anti virus wich i already disabled, just in case.
The hardware is ok because i have suse 8.1 running on another disk without any flaws.

As we have a corporate licence, i already tried WEB Edition and it didn't happen.

WHAT'S GOING ON ?

I'm assuming you've connected the ADSL modem to your computers via USB, and
not a network cable? If that's the case, you may want to ensure that you're
using the most current version of the driver for that device - it sounds
like this is a driver issue.

Alternately, assuming your ADSL modem supports it (and most do, I believe),
use a regular network cable to connect the modem to the computer, not the
USB cable. That should eliminate any need for an additional driver.
