I reapaired once my windows XP SP2 installation and when I went back
in the OS I downloaded all updates via windows update. THey were
around 80 maybe over a 100 I can't remember. But once I did all the
updates I think my windows have been corrupted again.
So I try to install an antivirus (Kaspersky) and it says something
like : The windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can
accir if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if the Windows
Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personel
for assistance. <OK>
I look in Microsofts knowledgbase but there is nothing that solved my
problems...
The other problem I have is that for exampe when you open MSN it tells
you how many new emails you got. You click on it and it takes you to
hotmail. Mine doesn't do anything anymore.
A lot of suchh weird things happening and I am really pissed off
because I cannot leave work to format my PC and re-install windows...
Any ideas or even if you know if I can get free support from Microsoft
somewhere woud be appreciated...
Thank you.
