Urgent Help Needed

Hi:
Suddenly find that when I enter data into forms, no updates are
appearing in the underlying!
Have tried to compact and repair to no avail. Backup Db is similarly
affected.
Northwind Db seems to function OK.
My Db is front and back-end, but both are on same pc.

Anyone have any idea what might have gone awry?

NTC:
Noting was changed in the Db---That's the amazing thing.
However, see my more recent post with the same title, for I discovered
what seems to be the culprit-----a value is not being passed
correctly.
