heres the story
the problem started when my twinmos speed premium rams start causing my
system to reboot randomly
so went to rma, they verified it was bad,got it changed, went back and it was ok
then one week later, the problem came back again
so i went to test my abit is7-e at the tech support,it came out fine for the
ram slots, the rams were ok too
so i got my rams changed just in case,a few days the reboots happened again
so i changed to kingston rams
now it still happens,so its not the rams so what is it???
my temps are ok,i got all my fans, including the northbridge one running
i put my rams in different ram slots just in case and upped the voltage to
2.65v
i havent installed any new hardware for a long time
im running on NOD32,Sygate firewall

my system specs at the moment are

Abit IS7-E+P4 2.8c Ghz
Kingston ValueRam DDR 512x2 CL2.5
1xWD40GB,1xWD80GB
ATI Radeon 9800XT
Audigy Soundcard
Verudium 450W

i am in need of help because i dont know if its the PSU or the memory
controller or software problem

The system is likely encountering a fatal error and the automatically restart option has been selected in start up and recovery options.

Right click on My Computer and select Properties/Advanced Tab/Start up and Recovery/Settings Button.

Under System Failure, uncheck the Automatically Restart option. This will allow the error to be displayed when the problem is encountered.

Check the Event Viewer for possible information. Go to start/Run and type eventvwr.msc and press OK. Click the 3 menu items on the left and look for any "X" error messages. If any are found, double click the error entry to seethe details. If you find an error that is coincidng with the behavior, click the Copy Icon on the details dialog screen and paste the error details in a reply to this message.
