uploading graphics to host fails

Looking for input! My purchased .gif graphics will upload to website as purchased but when I add text to logo or buttons, etc (tried Paint & PictureIt) they fail to upload. But I can e-mail them as attach. to my host and she is able to get them up for me. Any ideas??
 
Seems like we have the opposite problems! How did you get your graphics to upload? My text went thru fine using adobe Go Live.
