Hello John,
You can upgrade Windows XP Home to Windows XP Professional using the
Windows XP Professional Upgrade media. There is one caveat to this upgrade
path. Microsoft does not support upgrading Windows XP Home Edition with
Service Pack 1 (SP1) to Windows XP Professional without SP1.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey L. Wade

| Is this possible and does one have to pay the full XP Pro
| Upgrade price. Is there a special upgrade available
| between versions?
|
| Thanks.
