I keep getting a message the the XP Pro is older and can not install. I have
walked over the top of 2 computers with fresh installs, by rebooting and
installing. Luckly 1 was my 2nd PC and the guy is understanding.
I'm all ready making folks unhappy by deploying server 2003.
Thanks Terry

You need to create a new Windows XP Pro installation CD with SP2
slipstreamed into it:

XP Slipstream:

http://www.helpwithwindows.com/WindowsXP/winxp-sp2-bootcd.html

Order Windows XP Service Pack 2 on CD:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/sp2/cdorder/en_us/default.mspx

Windows XP Service Pack 2 complete download:

Good luck

This means that your installed OS is at a higher service pack level
than is the WinXP Pro CD you're using. You'll either need to uninstall
SP2 (Control Panel, Add/Remove programs) before attempting the upgrade,
or try slipstreaming SP2 into older WinXP installation.
