Dr. Brad

Good morning,

I am currently running Windows 2000. I intend to upgrade to Windows XP Pro.
When I entered the update disc my system is reviewed for compatibility. I
am given a message that I must get rid of Enter 300. This is a start-up
program for my DSL.

I called South Western Bell, who supplies my DSL, and they told me that XP
does not need Enter 300. Therefore, I can uninstall Enter 300. Because of
my age (over 74) and the fact that I am not a professional with this
technology, I am expressing my reluctance on this site.

Does anyone have any experience with this?? If so, I am sure I would
benefit from that experience.

Brad
