Yes, provided it is a Retail Full Install or Retail Upgrade version of
XP Pro that you use. An OEM version of XP Pro will not do an upgrade.

Retail versions come in Microsoft boxes (blue for XP Pro) while OEM
versions are generally just a CD and a small manual in shrink-wrap
plastic.

Upgrading from XP Home to XP Pro is probably the simplest operating
system upgrade ever, at least for Microsoft Operating Systems. This
is because XP Home and XP Pro are absolutely identical except for
those added features and functions that are only found in XP Pro. The
two versions are compiled from the same source code base. In
particular there is zero difference in performance, stability, or
reliability between the two versions.
