Hi,

I currently have Office 2002 with Outlook etc. I am wanting to upgrade to
2007. Will I lose all my current emails and contact information or does
Office 2007 keep them intact and install the new version around them?

Many thanks.

You wont lose anything, but as with any PC operation a backup of data is
allways wise
The outlook data file is *.pst - you have to search to include hidden to
locate it. Simply copy the reults to some other location, with Outlook
closed
One thing to note Outlook 2003 & 2007 uses a new format for the data file
which doesnt have the size limitation of the earlier version data file. You
might be wise once outlook is running to create a new data file & using data
management set that as the default msg store - You can copy data from old to
new within Outlook
