Upgrading To MM2

For some reason after I downloaded and installed MM2 it
didn't seem to make any changes on my computer. When I
start MM it still is MM1 not MM2. I have restarted my
computer and went through all of the installation. I
didn't think I could mess this up but I still only have
MM1. Please help me out with this stupid problem.
