Are there any issues that could arise from upgrading outlook 2002 to 2003.
It is an XP SP1 with Office 97.

You have Office 97 and Outlook 2002 and are going to upgrade Outlook to
2003? You shouldn't have any new issues but if you do, make a new profile
and it should take care of it.

Thanks for the help. Sorry for not being more detailed in the post. Yes I
will only upgrade Outlook. We are going to upgrade him because he is getting
very near the two gig limit for Outlook files. He also has an .OST file,
is there any issues I could run in to with the .OST file?

There shouldn't be any problems that a new profile won't fix. :)

To use the current profile, i would move or rename any psts and delete ost's
and allow Outlook to make new ones - espeically since the reason for the
upgrade is folder size. Outlook should make any new psts and the ost in
unicode format. You can import from old psts (but not ost - the new one will
populate from the server) if you want, but i'd just open any old pst using
file, open and move items i accessed often. Keep in mind outlook will not
convert from the ansi format to unicode - you need to make new files and
move data as needed.
